Moriah grew up near Spokane, WA. She studied Chemistry at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she worked in a research lab and discovered a passion for biochemistry and protein crystallography. She and her husband, Phill, got married last summer shortly before moving to Corvallis, and they love spending time outside, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and hanging out with their cat, Dipper.
