Jana received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (Guwahati, India) in 2017. Currently, working as a postdoctoral scientist at Oregon State University, with Prof. Ryan A. Mehl., his research is focused on developing new technology and chemistry that enable protein labeling inside cells at low concentration and in a short timeframe.
